Pink Baby Sweater + Purple Hat

Sarah sent me this picture of her daughter, Leland, wearing the pink baby sweater I showed in my previous post. A much better picture of the sweater (and an adorable baby). The pattern is in Weekend Knitting.

She made this hat for Leland, using Lamb's Pride Bulky. I think the pattern is also in Weekend Knitting.

Cate, I learned so much from your class at the Yarn Lounge and had a lot of fun as well!
PS- the hat is actually a pattern from Yarnsticks - yarnsticks.wordpress.com/2006/07/16/89/
Thanks again!

Very nice! It must make you feel so good to see your friends and "students" turn out such wonderful finished pieces.

I missed the Oscars this year. We were out celebrating my in-laws' birthdays. I was rooting for Little Miss Sunshine too. That has quickly become one of my favorite movies ever. I was very pleased that Helen Mirren won for The Queen. We had seen The Departed and agreed that it was certainly worthy, but preferred LMS.

OK, I almost called it baby porn...but then realized...that doesn't sound right....at...all....so...it's just baby knitted cuteness all around! I must see LMS...totally enjoyed The Departed...but need a more upbeat movie!

verification is really "bobftgkr" too funny!
