NKC

Just my boy Oscar smiling. No knitting to show - I'm making the Rowan Anna knee socks but the lace scrunches together and looks like a lumpy pile. The baby blanket needs to wait until it is finished because a progress shot will be kind of boring.

Tomorrow is the start of Sock Wars! I will post progress shots to document my speed or lack of. I just hope I can kill before I am killed.

How does an Irish deerhound differ from an Irish wolfhound? (Yeah, OK, part of it is in the name and that's presumably what they were bred to do. I get that.) Many years ago a friend had a wolfhound; Owen was a pushover. The most dangerous part of him was the tail; he could sweep a table clean faster than you can imagine! Your deerhound's coat looks quite similar to what I remember about Owen's. I'm just curious. He looks very happy to be in your pack.
