Mittens! Get Your Mittens!
At some point I signed up for a mitten swap. I got my mitten pal yesterday and plan to make some of my Flip Top Mitts for her. She requested earth tones, yellow, red or green. I will go with bright yellow Halcyon yarn that I found in my stash.

Those are so cute! Would love the pattern. I check Melanie Falick's holiday knitting book out of the library & she has a pair in there but they look so darn complicated. Lots of double YO's to attach the top to the body of the mitts. I didn't think I could do it maintaining sanity so would love to check out your pattern. Love the button detail BTW.
Love that shade of yellow. I tried on the green ones Sunday and they fit wonderfully. Anxiously awaiting the pattern.
