Flip Top Mitt progress

This shows the waste yarn holding the place for the thumb.

This shows the waste yarn that is holding the place for the top of the mitten.

This shows the stitches that have been picked up to knit the top of the mitten.

Do you like this button for the mitts?

Or do you prefer the orange glass fish button?

Orange fish! Orange fish! Except that it might be somewhat odd-shaped to get the loop around it. Do you put a little elastic in your i-cord loop?

I LOVE the look of the polka-dot button...but I think the fish is sly and clever-it looks like gummi candy, so it's BETTER.

How do you know how big to make the mittens?

Love the fish, but for that mitt, the round one pops.
