Park Play

Dogwood and I went to the Hanover Dog Park early this morning to meet up with friends. Emma & Goldie - two Scottish Deerhounds - and Rajah & Cody - two Afghan Hounds.

Fun pictures -- looks like it was a little foggy this morning. (I wouldn't know - I was asleep!)

Looks like so much morning fun! You are waaay too energetic for a Sunday morning. I could almost feel the cool misty air on my face and hear the dogs panting from your pics. Lulu thinks Dogwood is really cute..for a "little" guy.

Looks like the big boys had a great time, really stretching their legs. I know, from my Denver friend's experience as a non-model, that the wolfhounds need vigorous exercise to keep fit. Owen never got his full growth of chest or strength, since his person didn't take the time to let him run properly.

Happy dogs having happy doggy fun!

I like those thicker socks -- I like to knit bulky socks on 5mm, and worsted on 4mm and DK on 3.25. I haven't gone finer than that....yet. Despite that fact that I have a stock of sock yarn in lighter weights. I can't help but think of the sweaters I could be making. :) I'll get there though.

I'm also having quite the orange spell these days. I love orange yarns, and there are so many good ones. I've gotta make me a pair of those mitts one of these days.

Oh, I love watching doggies at play! All that energy can be marshalled in a heartbeat when the chance to play arises. We could all learn a lesson.
